German Schnapps Submission   I've got a trial. What next?

Step 1: Downloading the program and the database

Go to the member section at GS Submission website and authorize yourself (username: demo, password: demo). Then surf to Download section and download the program. See screenshot. After that choose the database you need - download Trial TGP Base. Below we suppose we work with Trial TGP Base (as example).

Unpack downloaded archives to any suitable place and run GSSubmission.exe.

Step 2: Updating database via Internet

Now you have to download database in the program. Press Open Project button at the main toolbar then choose the database file - trial_tgp.fsp in our example.

Ok, you've loaded the database - now you need to update it via Internet:

Database update has been finished.

Read more about database update via Internet in a corresponding section.

Step 3: Making of first gallery - preparation

Go to the Profiles panel (see screenshot). Here you must specify necessary data about webmaster and gallery.

Modify default profile data:

Step 4: Making of first gallery - extra settings

After we filled gallery properties we need to setup extra settings.

Open Options tab. See screenshot.

If you submit via proxy set Proxy checkbox and specify your proxy's IP address and a port in such notation: proxy:port, for example, 208.34.35.55:8080. You may need proxy to post from more than two virtual webmasters per day, because many TGPs allow to post one or two galleries in a day. See screenshot.
Desired proxy will be used automatically during submitting and confirming. Read more about operating via proxy in a corresponding section.

If you plan to use built-in Confirmer then you have to fill up POP3 and SMTP properties. Click Scan button and program will recognize e-mail addresses used in this profile. Then you should specify login, password and IP addresses (or names) of POP3/SMTP servers. You can setup your mailboxes manually as well using the buttons Add, Del, Edit. See screenshot.

Read more about these parameters in a corresponding section.

Step 5: Making of first gallery - preparing list of TGPs

At this step we have to choose TGPs that match our gallery. You can easily select suitable TGPs using special filters (on the right at the top of TGP list):

For the ordinary submission we recommend you use Can Submit filter - i.e. pick TGPs that match the conditions of our gallery (see screenshot).

Then press Create Submission and Generate button. The program will make set of TGP entries (for which gallery will be generated) and open Generator (see screenshot).

Step 6: Generating the gallery

You should setup next parameters in the generator:

Read descriptions of other fields and tabs of generator in a corresponding section.

Now we have to prepare gallery template.

If you already have template then just insert it in Template tab or load by means of Load from File function. It's necessary to put <#recip#> macro in template - while gallery generating it'll be replaced with reciprocal block (group of reciprocal images and/or text). Read about other macros in a corresponding section.

If you haven't any template and you want to make thumbnails in built-in generator then navigate to Images tab and begin to work with images. Add images using Add Files , Add Folder or Load From Output buttons (see screenshot). What can you do with images? You can swap their positions (drag mouse with pressed Shift), simply drag them to the desired place, delete them, etc. Use the Remove Tail or Remove Tail from Disk buttons to delete images that have not fitted to the gallery. You can view desired image by double-clicking on its thumbnail or pressing the View Image button.
Then you need to put <#thumb#> macros in the template (Template tab) - they will be replaced with thumbnail block during gallery generating. There can be a few thumbnail blocks. You can add them using Add Thumb Block function; move blocks with Drag-and-Drop function. Read about other generator features in a corresponding section.

When all things are ready, press Generate button and wait while the gallery is generating.

Then check Output directory whether the gallery was generated the right way.

Step 7: Uploading the gallery to FTP

There's no built-in FTP-client in GSS at the time, so you have to upload gallery using external program.

Upload the gallery to FTP.

When you have done your first gallery you need to upload reciprocals. You can do it by special script available in member zone at our web server:

When all reciprocals will be uploaded the notificaton letter will be sent to the specified e-mail.

Step 8: Gallery submission

So we have gallery generated and uploaded to the server - go the Submitter panel. Input your username and password, if you are not authorized yet (see screenshot).

See screenshot.

Preparing to submit

Clean your Internet Explorer's cache before submission by means Internet Cache Cleaner function in Utilities menu at the main toolbar (see screenshot).

If you use proxy, then check it for anonymity and capacity for work by pressing Set and Check Profile Proxy button.

To speed up submission:

Manual (semiautomatic) submission

Some pages must be submitted manually. These pages are shown in the Manual tab at Submitter panel. Fill them using Open and Fill button (hotkey: F3) and Fill (fill currently opened form - hotkey: F4).

During manual submission you can use context menu Recognize function to recognize submit codes (passphrases) - you have to point your mouse cursor over submit code image and click the mouse right button then pick Recognize function. Recognized submit code will be placed as a text into the clipboard. See screenshot. Notice that almost all TGPs whose submit code recognize well, placed in automatic submission queue.

To speed up submission pictures in forms will be loaded automatically, i.e. in case of submission with disabled images in manual queue - images that hold submit codes will be shown anyway.

Automatic submission

Press Start All button to start automatic submission. Pages will be submitting at the same time in a few different threads. Number of auto queues can be set in Options tab - Queues parameter. See screenshot. You can vary this parameter, because its optimal value depends on your bandwidth. Bigger bandwidth - more pages could be submitted simultaneously.

You can suspend submission by Pause All button. Then it can be resumed by Start All .

Detailed description of automatic and manual submission can be found in a corresponding section.

Step 9: Confirming letters

After completion of submission it's necessary to confirm letters.

Confirmation completed.

Read more about confirmer in a corresponding section.

Step 10: Reviewing submission results

To review and analyze submission's results it's necessary to move submission to the history - press Finish Submission button.

At the History panel all pages distributed in groups depending on submit page text or result page text.

In the history you can resubmit any particular page using Open and Fill (F3) and Fill (F4) buttons.

After review of results submission can be deleted by means Delete Submission function.

Good luck! ;)
