German Schnapps Submission   Modifying the base: Adding ordinary TGPs and TGPs with partnership

Let's examine process of adding the ordinary TGP to the base.

  1. Launch program.
  2. Open TGP base (Open Project button).
  3. Open TGP's submit page in the built-in browser http://gssubmission.com/samples/form1/. As you can see - it's an ordinary submission form, not a partner one.
  4. First we have to add Site - press Add Site button. New Site dialog has opened, so we should type in TGP name (Name). The name will be taken from the title of the opened page by default. TGP URL (URL) is set to the site URL of the opened page by default; in our case it's http://gssubmission.com/.
  5. When we have got all parameters set press OK button - now Site is created and submitter asks you - "Add Entry Page?". Choose Yes. The page adding dialog has opened: See screenshot.

You have to specify submit page type here - Regular or Partner, in our case it's Regular. If you know for sure that this TGP can be submitted in auto mode, set Auto parameter to Yes.

  6. Press OK and program move you to the Sites panel. If you still have some submit form fields unrecognized by submitter, you should set them right by hands. Fields can be colored in a different ways:

    Possible recognition errors:

Now we see that submitter couldn't recognize fields gss_des (Description), perm (Gallery Type) and conf (E-mail me when my post has been processed): See screenshot.

Double click on the gss_des field - you see the submitter learning dialog (Knowledges). Bind this field to the gallery description, for example, Med. Desc: See screenshot.

    Then press Close button.

Let's look at the perm and conf fields - we can handle them in a two ways:

That's all - submit page is set up.

  7. Now we have to add the reciprocal link to this TGP. Get back to the submitter's browser and seek for reciprocal link info in the TGP rules. Add the reciprocal link:

If we get back to the Sites panel and look at the properties of the TGP we have added, then we'll see this: See screenshot.

We have added TGP to the base. Now let's add a partner submit page of this TGP.

  1. Open partner submit page in the built-in browser http://gssubmission.com/samples/form2/.
  2. Press Add Page button and submitter will ask you to add this page as a Partner. If you are sure that this TGP can be autosubmitted with no problems, set Auto parameter to Yes.
  3. Press OK and Sites panel has opened again. Fix up perm and conf fields as we did in case of the ordinary submit page.
  4. Look at the first field of the form - user. Submitter has recognized it as a Name, but really it's a Username, so we must fix it. Double click on the user field and get the submitter learning dialog (Knowledges) opened. Bind the field to the Username.
  5. We do not have to add reciprocal link, because we have did it already.

Done! The partner submit page have been added.

To make the submitter use the partner submit page while submitting you need to set the "submit path" for given TGP in the desired profile: See screenshot.

Do not forget to specify Username and Password at the TGP local settings (Show Site Profiles button): See screenshot. To learn more about local settings read the profile setup section.
